You can reach Iasi by air, road (car/bus) or
railway.
Iasi has an internation airport, and one can fly directly from Vienna, Budapest or Bucharest. Most international connections are reaching Iasi via Bucharest.
Iasi Airport is relatively close to city center and can easily be reached by taxi (5-8 Euro). We will provide transportation for flights arriving on the 12th.
If you fly via Bucharest:

TAXI Airport to Gara de Nord ( Fly Taxi accredited company) will cost around 30 - 35 Euros . The time will depend on traffic it may be more than one hour. It is cheaper/safer than other taxis.
ATTENTION: MOST STUDENTS ATTENDING ISRIS 2009 WHO CAME BY PLANE TO BUCHAREST AND THEN BY TRAIN TO IASI EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTIES IN TRANSFERRING TO THE TRAIN STATION.
